SNBN Newsboy Cap
Another FO.
Finished the Headline News- cabled Newsboy Cap a couple of weeks back, just getting the photo up. Overall I really like it. I used the Blue Sky Alpaca the pattern called for, love this color. I plan on making more but I would make the bottom ribbing tighter, probably go down another needle size. Think I'll add 1 more repeat of the pattern too, since the hat is a little shorter than I would ideally want.

and a rather blurry pic

Update on Ribbon X-back. After having to frog about 4 inches (pattern got off) I'm almost ready to start the straps. Ended up going down to 82 stitches on like 10 needles for waist shaping after CO was looking to be too large. I've tried it on after increasing back up to the 90 for the xsmall size and it looks like it should fit. woohoo.
Also just purchased Glampyre's new pattern One Skein Wonder. Excited to cast on for that, plan to wear it with my new dress for my rehearsal dinner for my wedding. :D

What a beautiful job you have done! I have been looking for a pattern like this one. Where ever did you find it? It is just perfect! Thanks for letting me see it.BarbaraAnncrochetbabie02@yahoo.com

how in the world do you the brim?!

Thanks! The brim is made by knitting a "pocket" that holds a cut out piece of plastic mesh canvas then stitched closed. It's a great pattern from Stitch n Bitch Nation.

I really like your newsboy cap. Did you use the pattern from Stitch n Bitch nation? I have just finished mine, but cant get the peak right. I'm finding the pattern is not very clear. Have you any advice?

Is there a secret going on, no one will share their pattern.
