Humdrum Lace Leaf Update
The lower body half is now complete and have started on the upper body. Like many others, I didn't bind off so I could graft from live stitches. So far the calculations are working out; we'll see how it's going when I reach the armscye though.

Here's a shot of what my nails currently look like after having my hands done with mendhi awhile back. It stays on the nails until it grows out. Good motivation for keeping those tips painted though!

I once attended an Indian wedding ceremony of my husband's co-worker. It was a shorted version as most of the attendees were to return to work afterwards. My first time witness an Indian wedding ... quite interesting ... a lot of elaborate rituals ... but I was not surprised since Chinese traditional wedding is like that too. That's important part of a culture.Looking forward to seeing your Lace Leaf done.

What a cool way to remember your wedding! I guess when you don't have any red on your nails, you're out of the honeymoon phase and well on your way to being an "old married couple"... or something like that!
