Progress shots
Slow but steady

The swiftness at which some of you bloggers out there produce knitting just astounds me. I tend to think I'm not that slow of a knitter, probably close to average, but damn I can not compare to some of ya. I like to think that it's just because only get to work on pieces for short stints at night. At least that's what I'm going to keep telling myself.
So that's the celtic cable purse ( I need to think up a more creative name- suggestions?) with the stitches picked up, the back worked and the start of the double knitted section. On the right, a longer strip of lace.

I am always amazed at how much other knitters get done! Your work looks great and it looks like you've made good progress since SnB on Sunday!

How about the "Luck of the Irish" purse, or the "Leprechaun" bag? Anything Irish sounding always implies cables in my mind. : )

I totally love that green! And I envy those knitters who can knit without even looking at the needles! ^^
