I was browsing the new Knitty and saw this pattern and thought "Hey, she looks familiar?" Sure enough, it was you! I read your blog all the time and you wings are great!
Super cute pattern, congrats on being published with Knitty again! And thanks for the link to the new mag - I checked them this morning but it was not up yet! Whoohoo! : )
These are WAY cute. I didn't see the byline before I saw the picture, and I thought to myself - self, that looks like a Jennifer T. that I know. And then I thought 'why, self, I'll just have to jaunt over and tell her what a rockin' pattern it is! Way cute and inventive! See you at the September Meeting!

Thanks for such a sweet pattern! Visiting from your link in Knitty, your and I just love your site! I always wondered how knitters in Texas cope with the climate, and obviously you just get creative - super job!
You and Jen from Domiknitrix could do some serious hoit together if you ever collaborated. You both have a thing for skulls and borderline Goth stuff. Alette is going to make a marvelous prom accessory for the kids who rent hearses instead of limoes.
Your new website is fabulous and I'm happy to see you still have foody entries ... you inspired me to try a new ice cream flavor last night when I found a chunk of Ghirardeli (sp?) left over from making your wondrous chocolate chip cookie concoction. I will send you the recipe ASAP for an extra minty chocolate frozen custard, and I'd be happy to send you some organic chocolate mint from my garden.
Something I'd love to see you make are nursing tops. Fortunately there is a top on Knitty, but I am trying to formulate some knitted bras for all my breastfeeding friends ... preferably with skulls and wings!

So, when is your first knitting book coming out?
You and Jen from Domiknitrix could do some serious hoit together if you ever collaborated. You both have a thing for skulls and borderline Goth stuff. Alette is going to make a marvelous prom accessory for the kids who rent hearses instead of limoes.
