Ahh, sweet relief from cast-on fever.

Yes even if it is another swatch. I've been aching to start this for ages. Looking through my FO's I realized they do not contain any original garments, even though I have a sketch book full of ideas and more swatched up and sent out for submissions. I want to actually make one however and one in season too.
I've dubbed this the bra-friendly tank as a working title. As hot is it is right now comfort is king and I want a sleeveless top I can just throw on without any special under-equipment. I've kept all the patterning below the bust making it an empire waist so the top is in plain St st. The wider straps for more coverage will have optional worked in bra stays underneath for I hate bra strap fishing as well. Now the rought numbers are worked out so I can get to actually starting the piece.

Looks gorgeous. Can't wait to see the finished product.
That swatch is definitely looking good. A bra friendly tank is something every woman needs.
The swatch is certainly beautiful. I bet the tank will be too.
Love the swatch--is the top moss stitch or stockinette? I'm all for bra-friendly tops--never liked the exposed bra straps look.
OOOHHH!! That'll be awesome! Can't wait to see it!
It looks really pretty, and I'm glad to see my Denise needles will work for it!
I can't wait to see more of this!
ooh can't wait to see how this works up
Lovely - what yarn is it?
Lovely - what yarn is it?
I can tell it's going to be lovely! The deep red is a gorgeous color.
The swatch is very pretty - anxious to see what the whole thing looks like - it sounds great!
Very interesting design idea! Can't wait to hear more about it.
Wow, that is really pretty! I love that you chose red; I hear it's over a hundred right now in your area! Yikes! Anyway, good luck with this design and all your other submissions!
I swung by to say hi from the Amazing Lace board...but didn't realize I've already been here before and really like your site. There are not enough tank patterns out there that cover bra straps...trust me I've looked!
