Too bad it's not still March
I'm still in my "green phase" I guess.

I've been itching to make a nice cotton summer (read 'Texas friendly') hat for awhile. When I found this pattern I cast on as soon as I could. The pattern is called Beaufort from Knititude, whose blog really deserves a look see.
The yarn is Jo Sharp Desert Garden Aran Cotton in 238 dandelion and I love this shade. On mine the bottom of the ribbing has developed a subtle scallop that I quite like. Soon as this one's completed it's back to the Aileen cabled purse lest someone think it's been forgotten.

It doesn't matter the month. Knit in whatever colors you want! Although I am partial to this month's color. Very cute!

Love that stitch pattern, and green is always a good color choice. :-)
