Chez PieKnits has a new local

We are moved in! With the added excellent timing of my parents coming to visit, we were able to pack and move everything last weekend, yeay! Now the longer process of figuring out where the heck everything's "place" is going to be. That is much more fun though. :) So we got everything unloaded, just started to get things unpacked and I promptly became sick. I don't know how sick the proverbial dog supposedly gets, but I was apparently sicker than that. Not. cool. (Insert musing about some karmic balance going on here) So I still have not gotten a chance to use this however. Waaah!

Ooh look, it holds a wine bucket...

I'm on the mend now and woefully behind emails and blogs, so I apologize if you have not heard from me yet!
It's going to be busy month, I just found out that a pattern of mine was accepted for the Spring issue of Knitter's and is due this month too! I'm really excited about this one, it is a garment and one I've been wanting to do for a long time. Now I just need to figure out a way to knit in that tub...

Wow . . . you closed and got moved and all that really FAST! Sorry to hear you're sick, but I'm with Stacey -- what a great tub to soak away the malaise!

What a beautiful tub! I've had the same thoughts myself, trying to figure out just how one can work out knitting in the tub.

Congratulations on the new casa! Nothing gets my nesting instincts going like a move. Best of luck for a speedy recovery from being sick, and I'm looking forward to seeing the new pattern! Also, my new Topi really is coming soon...I promise. I've been dinking around on the brim, but the third time will be the charm...

how exciting!! congratulations! also, your red hat is super cute!

Wow - that's a beautiful bathroom, and it looks so luxurious. (Especially with the champagne bottle!) Glad to read that you're moved in and wish you good luck getting unpacked. Will you show us corners of your home as you get 'em like you like 'em?

Hope you feel better. I'll try not to be too smug while I'm petting alpacas and ooh'ing over fleece at Kid 'N Ewe. (dayum, I'm mean!)

Yay, another pattern. Cool! Love the tub. Looks deep!!

So sorry to hear you were feeling "out of the bathtub". Now that you're better enjoy and celebrate that great news, and the great new house. Congratulations
