Circular in miniature

chisai!

I'm so happy I picked up this Clover mini-circular, me loves it lots. I like double points and all, I suppose I'm just use to tidy little sock stitches and working these sleeves on 8's with the entire sweater body weighing it down was just jacking my gauge all up. A close up of the needle is pictured here in Knitter's Review. I had thought it might be kind of awkward but to me, it's not at all. Easy round and round TV knitting!

I would assume it would awkward too, but I suppose if there were enough stitches on the needle than it would be okay and you'd find your rhythm. What a delight to just go round and round and round!!!

Its funny because I was just reading the part in "Knitting Without Tears" where EZ turns her nose at any circ shorter than 13".....however I don't agree. I can't imagine turning out all the fuzzy feet I did soley on DPN's. I say go with it when it works!

OOH i have a couple of these...but i haven't tried them yet! i should bust them out for a pair of socks I want to make out of fixation. :)

Wow, I've never seen such teeny circulars. I'm going to ask my LYS to get me some, there may be hope for me making socks yet :)

I have one that I haven't had the chance to use yet - glad you like it!!!

GENIUS! I've never seen these, but it's just the thing I need!

My friend has a few vintage 9 inch circulars that she swears by for socks. Did you buy these recently, and from where? I've never seen circs that small in the shops!

Thank you for posting this! I've been looking for just this thing. I just now ordered some.

I purchased those a few years back for a pattern in Last Minute Knitted Gifts, back before I would have doubted they'd be comfortable to use--I was just "following the directions". I agree, they are easy to use--not awkward at all. I never thought of breaking them out for socks--that would be a LOT of fun!

Hey girl,

Do you remember the name of the vendor at DFW fiber fest that you purchased these from? I can't recall which one it was and I want to see if they still have any size 4's.

PS = It was great to meet u at Urban Bazaar.
