Right, the dreadlocks
Did I mention they were purple too? :-D
Ok, so here's one of the two photos I could find.

This is it still in it's early stages, don't have any later unfortunately. Was back in the days of pre-digital cameras and damn film and developing was expensive (poor college student remember)
Ahhh I miss having fun with my hair. I have some bright red hair color I've been meaning to under dye my hair with for forever, hoping to do it soon. Want to see more crazy hair? I put up a flickr set over here - (Hair as a canvas) because I'm so indulgent like that, or something.

Ha! Hilarious! My husband met me when my hair was orange/pink (short at that) but any photographic proof has been eliminated...

I love the bright pink and the purple 'fade dye' - I wish I had photos of all of the insane things that I have done to my hair in the past.

My hero-- those dreads rock. ^__^ I miss my days of reckless dying so much. Now that I have long hair, I freak out about its well-being way too easily. I miss my green hair-- it was the most fun color for me.

That is awesome! I would love to be brave like that with my hair!

I've always wanted to dye my hair green. My daughter had a mermaid doll when she was younger that had intense yellow hair that turned bright green in the right light. I LOVED that color. When we went to Six Flags I had my hair spray-painted bright green. The girl doing the color asked me who I was trying to embarrass. I told her 'my daughter' and she said that should do it. My daughter just shook her head when she saw me.
I've always admired people who have the nerve to do things like you've done with your hair. Keep in mind I'm almost 52 and I STILL want green hair!

I remember your green hair! I don't think I have a single picture of when my hair was purple, blue, or red...and I know I'm a "professional" and can't do anything with it anymore...depressing!
