So I was upstairs trying to find some decent light to photograph the latest semi-bloggable design project when I see a blur out the window. At first I think it's our dog, Aejaz then realize no, he's in the fenced back yard. And continue on, only to swear I keep seeing some blur going back and forth in the front lawn. I stand up and look out the window trying to see through the trees thinking I'm imagining things only seeing a few kids playing.
Then I remembered we just had the new stone bench we got put in the back yard and think, hey that could work as a new backdrop. I pick up the knitting, camera and head out back expecting Aejaz to come running up but he doesn't. That's when it dawns on me maybe the door was left open after bringing in the seat. Yep, sure enough the door is wide open and no Aejaz. I run out the front and there he is playing with the neighborhood kids who are standing at the front door and turn to ask "Oh is this your dog?". I knew I had seen a furry looking blur, ha. Naughty boy couldn't resist running out to play.
Therefore, his punishment was posing with the new seat- we're such disciplinarians. :)

And speaking of the Colorado River- I'm on a plane to Yarn School in a few hours! Wheee! I get back on Sunday and hopefully should have a new pattern up shortly. (*gasp* shock, I know)
A new pattern? Oooh.. I can't wait!
how scary! I hate when my dogs get out - they are runners too - i once looked out my front window only to see them sprinting down the front yards of the street. luckily we got them back pretty quick!
Your dog is so pretty - I'm glad he is back in your hands. What mix is he?
Love the seat and your beautiful dog! I am seriously pleased that we don't have a lawn to mow, but my one regret about our condo is that there's no yard for the dachshund.
Have a great time at Yarn School. Learn great things - and then share 'em with us at recess! Tee hee
Hmmm, I don't know how much punishment that is for Aejaz. If I recall, he's in a fair amount of your knitting pictures and seems to like it. (ha!)
You're such a tease! Your unbloggable project looks so intriguing. Can't wait to see it :)
Your dog looks almost fox-like and very mischievous. Very cute!
Awww, what a gorgeous dog!!
And yarn school? I'm envious (but happy that you get to go)!
Yeah, he looks real guilty! LOL! Have a good trip.
He's too adorable. You can tell how sorry he is, can't you ? -=giggle=- Have fun and take lots of pictures!!
Yay for cute doggie pictures! Yay for yarn school! Yay for a new pieKnits pattern!
ooo! I'm so excited to hear about yarn school!
