FO: Beaded Victorian Thimble Bag

It's been said plenty, but the versatility of knitting really is awesome. I'm so charmed with my new thimble/amulet bag; it's so wholly different looking and feeling than anything I've yet knit. Do not fear the tiny beads and 0000 size needles (yup that's right) - this little bag really was easy. The pattern was part of our Dallas Hand Knitter's Guild October program on Bead Knitting. Our presenter (and own guild member) Mary Jo Mundell stated she makes these in one day. While mine did take a little longer than that with intermittent spurts of progress it did go very quickly. Major bonus was Mary Jo sells kits for these with the beads pre-strung, praise be.

And speaking of Guild projects- here's the picture of dorky me, my Circumnavigated Cardi and my State Fair of Texas ribbon as promised.
Well I'm off to tonight's meeting on Steeking. I shall fear no scissors. Now if only for once I could get up to introduce our speakers and not forget half of everything I wanted to say on the spot, sigh.

What great fun! And another ribbon on your knitting trophy wall - yay you!
You may convince me to join the guild after all. (I'm a hold out.)

Congratulations on the ribbon! Your Circumnavigate was one of my favorites from the guild.
You're lucky I didn't steal that beaded bag from you at the meeting Tuesday night. I'm very attracted to red sparkly things.
Hope you finally got your copy of IK!

Well done! *^v^*
Did you know that your Celtic Tote got the second place in the most popular IK Winter 07 project poll on Knitting Daily.com? No wonder, it is stunning! ^^

Just found you on Ravelry! This is adorable. I have queued the Celtic Bag and cannot wait to start it. I have not received my Interweave yet and am tempted to go buy it!

Hi! I accidently popped in to your blog and I saw the red beaded bag that you have made. Now I can't resist of showing you that I have made 7 of those bags, just a big bigger though. I also have a knitting blog, but it's only in finnish so I'm gonna give you instruction if you want to chekc-out my beaded bags.
On the column in right hand's side you can see text Arkisto and under that 2007. Just click on these months and scroll down to see the bags: maaliskuu (March), toukokuu (May), kesäkuu (June), lokakuu (October) and marraskuu (November).
By the way, I love the celtic bag, it's on my to-do list :)
